About the Resort

Can I bring my boat, kayak, paddleboard or canoe?

Yes, resort guests are allowed one tie up dock space for boats for the duration of their stay. Additional spaces can be secured for a moorage fee of $10 per night. Please let us know when making your reservation if you will be bringing a water vessel. We want to secure a spot for you on our dock.  Spaces are limited to first come first serve.

 

Small water vessels can be launched from our dock and boaters can use 1 of 3 local launch sites.

 

What items are available in the general store?

We have many items that a grocery store would have just a smaller selection. Except for our beer and hard cider selection. We have a ton! We also have wine, vintage sodas, microwaveable snacks, souvenirs, and Bigfoot/Sasquatch memorabilia.

 

What should I bring if I'm staying in a Vacation Rental?

WHAT IS PROVIDED: All linens, equipped kitchen with basic pots, pans, utensils and glassware you will need to prepare and serve a meal. Including a coffee pot, toaster, and griddle. We provide salt & pepper, you may want to bring any other seasonings you enjoy cooking with.

A START UP SUPPLY: For your convenience, we provide start-up supplies at your arrival; toilet paper, one on holder and two extra under each bathroom sink, one roll of paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags and hand soap in bathrooms. You may bring additional supplies or purchase them in our general store.

SUGGESTED ITEMS TO BRING: Please bring your own toiletries. You may want to bring beach towels if participating in outdoor activities. Such as boating or visiting the beach. Bathroom linens are not permitted outside.

Can I reserve the whole resort?

Yes, we encourage large groups to rent the whole resort. Renting the whole resort ensures you have the whole facility without having to share amenities with other guests.  A deposit is required at the time of booking to reserve the dates for private events.

Who can use the fire pit?  All resort guests are welcome to use it. Our fire pit is first come first served. We sell firewood. You may want to stock up on marshmallows before you arrive. Those tend to go fast in our general store. 

Policies

Can I bring my pets?

We currently do not accept pets. If you wish to visit the area with a pet. Vista Park offers pet friendly accommodations. Unauthorized pets in the hotel or vacation rentals will be subject to a cleaning fee of $250.00. Plus an additional fee for carpet and furniture cleaning. 

 

All Hotel Rooms and Vacation Rentals at Skamokawa Resort are smoke free. If smoking is detected in unit you will be charged a $250 cleaning fee in addition to the carpet and furniture cleaning.  

ŸNo more then the agreed upon number of people are allowed overnight. Visitors must vacate by 11pm.

ŸGuest agrees to be financially responsible for any and all damages either willful or accidental within the course of occupancy. Occupants are required to report any damages to management immediately.

 

Quiet hours are from 10PM-8AM (this includes our private dock).  

 

Skamokawa Resort has a strict No Party Policy in our Hotel Rooms and Vacation Rentals. 

 

Skamokawa Resort is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items.

 

After hours check ins must be arraigned in advance. 

 

No refunds are given for early departures or if Guests are asked to leave early for failing to not abide by rental policies. 

 

Payment

Upon check in a customers debit/credit card will be charged the remaining amount for their stay. A valid credit card must be on file to serve as a security deposit and Guests agrees to allow Skamokawa Resort to charge the credit card on file in the event of damage to premises, property or common areas, excessive cleaning required, carpets left in dirty condition, theft or removal of excessive garbage.

 

Cancelations

Hotel reservations may be canceled up to 7 days in advance from reservation date for a refund of the deposit. Cancelations made after the 7 days will not be refunded.

 

Vacation Rentals may be canceled 45 days in advance from the reservation date for a refund of the deposit amount. Cancelations made after 45 days will not be refunded the first nights stay but will be refunded the cleaning deposit.  

 

No Shows

Guests that fail to cancel their reservations and simply do not show up on the reservation day will be charged the full amount of their reservation.
